Remembering Not to Age

On the whole the aging of the brain is not really perceivable. And what is not helping is the fear that if we believe that it is happening we will make it worse. So we pretend that we are simply tired and that what we notice in others around us is not affecting us.
Self-awareness can sometime take the form of stepping on one’s toes while dancing. But let me get to the point: if one perceives that aging is happening faster than ‘normal’ or affecting a certain faculty – it probably means it is time we did something about it – without anxiety of course. Memorizing names is something I really want to work at.
